Frequently Asked Questions

Is TempMail free?

Yes, completely free. You can generate and switch email addresses unlimited times without any cost or registration.

How long does the temporary email last?

Each email address is valid for 24 hours from the time it is generated. After that, the address and all associated messages are permanently deleted.

Can I send emails with TempMail?

No. TempMail only supports receiving emails. It cannot be used to send messages.

Is it safe to use?

Yes. All emails are automatically sanitized to remove potentially harmful content, and HTML is rendered in a restricted sandbox to prevent script execution. Your browsing data is not collected.

Can I choose my own email address?

The system generates a random address automatically. You can switch to a new address at any time by clicking the "Refresh" button, which also lets you choose from available domains.

What happens after 24 hours?

After 24 hours, the email address expires and is deleted. All received messages are also permanently removed. You can generate a new address instantly.

Can I recover a deleted email?

No. Once an email address expires or is manually changed, all messages are irretrievably deleted. This is by design to protect user privacy.
